Description
Odenthal EZ-Set 4-Cycle Motor Mount – 8°
The Odenthal EZ-Set 4-Cycle Motor Mount – 8° is a complete two-piece assembly designed for fast, precise chain-tension and engine-position adjustments on 4-cycle kart applications. It is commonly used with Briggs LO206, Clone, Honda, Tillotson, and other compatible 4-cycle engines.
The EZ-Set design uses a chassis-specific lower base and a separate sliding upper motor plate. When the adjustment hardware is loosened, the upper plate can move forward or backward while the base remains secured to the kart frame. This makes it easier to adjust chain tension, change gearing, or reposition the engine without repeatedly removing and realigning the entire mount.
The 8° upper plate is designed for 4-cycle engine fitment and can allow the clutch to be run in either direction on most karts, depending on the engine and chassis setup.

How to Choose the Correct Configuration
Select No Clamps if you already have the correct clamps or only need the base and upper motor plate assembly. For chassis-specific options, measure the outside diameter of the chassis frame tubes where the mount will sit to determine whether you need the 28mm, 30mm, or 32mm option. Then measure from the center of one frame rail to the center of the other. Choose an I-series mount for 92mm center-to-center spacing or a K-series mount for 90mm center-to-center spacing.
